Traveling with a Baby/Toddler General Packing Checklist
Keep in mind that the age of your toddler may affect your packing list. For instance, what you pack for a 4-year-old might be different from what you pack for a 1-year-old.
Outside of the diaper bag, generally, your baby/toddler packing list should include clothes, snacks, entertainment, toothbrush, medications, and other essentials you personally use. Less is always more! Your general packing list for a baby/toddler travel might include:
Everyday outfits for various activities
A spare outfit in diaper bag/ bag with you
Pajamas
Socks
Shoes for different purposes (pool, play, dress-up, everyday wear)
Jacket and possibly a sweater
Swimwear
Hat
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Sunscreen
Fan
Hair accessories (if applicable)
Diaper/Underwear
Medication
First aid kit

Snacks
For specific trips, additional items might be needed. For instance, a winter cabin trip requires mittens, hats, earmuffs, ski suits, etc. If flying internationally, bring their passport, and when flying domestically it’s a good idea to bring a copy of the birth certificate.
As always, let me know if you have any questions!
